SEEL은 2023년 서울을 기반으로 설립되어 브랜드의 탄생에 필수 작용을 한 예술, 문화와 건축에 대한 존중을 중심으로 현재를 상징하는 검은색과 미래를 상징하는 흰색, 그 속에 존재하는 나를 상징하는 회색을 브루탈리즘과 결합하여 컬렉션의 주요 구성 요소로 사용, 어두운 무드의 스트릿 스타일에 미니멀리즘을 결합한 스타일을 지향합니다.

시간의 흐름 속에서 어떠한 방법으로 영속성을 가질 수 있는가 또 영속성은 정말 가질 수 있는 것인가에 대해 끊임없이 탐구하는 SEEL은 옷을 통하여 시간 속 영속성을 바라보는 이러한 시선을 보여주고자 합니다. SEEL의 모든 컬렉션의 원단은 현재를 상징하는 검은색만을 사용하여 어떠한 현재를 보내고 있으며 어떠한 미래를 그리는지 또 그러한 시간 속에서 나는 변할 수 있는가 없는가에 대해 SEEL뿐만 아니라 보고 있는 이들에게 질문을 던집니다.

SEEL의 디자이너는 한국에서 태어나 20대를 페루, 볼리비아, 멕시코, 스페인에서 보내고 여러 나라를 여행했습니다.

20대의 시간들을 아름다움이 가득한 문화와 여러 나라의 사람들을 직접 만나고 경험하며 시간의 흐름 속에 있지만 시간의 흐름에서 벗어난 것처럼 보이는 존재들이 있다는 것을 깨달았고,

그러한 존재들처럼 자신 또한 시간의 흐름에 영향을 받지 않는 본인만의 색으로 가득 찬 자신만의 것을 만들고 싶다 생각했습니다.

그중에서도 가장 좋아하던 옷을 통하여 표현하기로 결심한 후 20대의 끝에 한국으로 들어와 독학으로 옷을 배우고 꿈에 그리던 자신만의 옷들을 만들어나갔습니다.

그렇게 만들어진 옷들은 지금의 SEEL이 되었고 현재 SEEL이란 브랜드를 그러한 존재로 만들기 위하여 SEEL만이 가지고 있는 색이 더 짙은 색으로 만들어가고 있습니다.

SEEL was established in 2023 based in Seoul, focusing on respect for the art, culture and architecture that played an essential role in the creation of the brand, and combining black symbolizing the present, white symbolizing the future, and gray symbolizing me as a major component of the collection with Brutalism, SEEL aim for a style that combines a dark street style with minimalism.

SEEL, which constantly explores how to have permanence over time and how to have permanence, wants to show this view of permanence in time through clothes. The fabric of all of SEEL's collections uses only black, which symbolizes the present, What kind of present do you have and what kind of future do you have and can you change or not in that time, SEEL ask questions not only to SEEL but also to those who are watching.

The designer of SEEL was born in Korea, spent his 20s in Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, and Spain, and traveled to many countries.

He spent his 20s meeting and experiencing beauty-filled cultures with people from different countries in person and realizing that there are beings who are in the passage of time but seem to have escaped the passage of time.

Like those beings, he also thought that he wanted to create his own, full of his own colors that were not influenced by the passage of time.

He came to Korea at the end of his 20s after thinking that he wanted to express it through fashion, one of his favorite things, and learned clothes by himself and made his own clothes.

The clothes that were made in that way became the current SEEL, He is making the color that only SEEL has darker in order to make the brand SEEL as above.
