SEEL은  브루탈리즘 'Brutalism'에서  영감을 받아 시작됐습니다.

브루탈리즘 'Brutalism' 의 특징 :

  - 가공하지 않은 거친 재질, 설비.

  - 재료를 도색하지 않고 있는 그래도 노출.

SEEL was inspired by Brutalism.

품질을 위해 선택된 재료.

실용성을 위하여 영속성이 좋은 콘크리트를 사용하였듯 아름답기만 해선 오랜 시간 함께 할 수 있는 옷이 될 수 없습니다.

아름다운 모양과 함께 내구성도 따라와 줘야 사용하는 사람의 세월을 온전히 담아낼 수 있습니다.

그러기 위해선 옷의 기본이 되는 원단부터 좋은 품질을 사용해야 합니다.

코튼[Cotton]

오랜 시간 함께 하기 위해 SEEL의 코튼은 촘촘하게 짜여 무게가 나가는 헤비 코튼 중에서도 900g 이상의 최중량급 원단을 사용함으로써 보온성은 물론 내구성을 높였습니다.

립[Rib]

코튼 원단과 같이 고중량에 탄탄한 원단을 사용하여 지금껏 느껴보지 못한 최상의 착용감을 느끼실 수 있습니다.

데님[Denim]

프리미엄 코튼 100%의 제작된 16oz 이상의 일본산 생지 데님을 사용,

생지 데님의 특성상 처음 사용을 할 땐 빳빳하고 거친 느낌이 들지만 착용을 할수록 부드러워지고 착용자의 몸에 맞게 워싱이 자연스럽게 진행되어 본인만의 옷이 만들어질 수 있도록 했습니다.

Material selected for quality.

COTTON
To stay together for a long time, SEEL's cotton is tightly woven and uses more than 900g of the heavy cotton, increasing warmth as well as durability.

RIB
Using high-weight, solid fabrics such as cotton fabric, you can feel the best fit you've never felt before.

DENIM
Using Japanese-made raw denim over 16oz made of 100% premium cotton,
Due to the nature of raw denim, it feels stiff and rough when used for the first time, but the softer it is as you wear it, and the washing naturally proceeds to suit the wearer's body, allowing the wearer to make your own clothes.

가공하지 않은 거친 재질.

재료를 도색하지 않고 있는 그래도 노출.

가공하지 않은 콘크리트만의 아름다움이 있듯이 후가공이 들어가지 않은 옷 또한 가공된 옷과는 다른 거친 아름다움을 느낄 수 있습니다.

제작자가 완성시키는 것이 아닌 착용자가 완성해 나가는 옷을 만들기 위해 일부러 시간의 흐름을 만드는 워싱, 다잉과 같은 후가공을 의도적으로 배제하여 착용자에게 제작 당시의 상태 그대로 전달합니다.

그렇기 때문에 처음 옷을 받았을 땐 아름답지만 무겁고 거친 느낌에 다소 불친절하고 위협적으로 느껴질 수 있습니다.

하지만 아름답지만 불친절했던 그 옷은 사용함에 따라 사용자의 습관이 녹아들고, 이야기가 쌓여 세월의 흔적들이 담겨 어느 순간부터 사용자에게 입을 수 있는 완벽하게 아름다운 추억으로 변해져 있을 겁니다.

Just as there is the beauty of unprocessed concrete, unprocessed clothes can also feel the rough beauty that is different from processed clothes.

In order to make clothes that the wearer completes rather than the maker completes, post-processing such as washing and dyeing that purposely creates the passage of time is intentionally excluded and delivered to the wearer as it was at the time of production.

That's why when you first receive clothes, it can feel beautiful but heavy and rough, which can make you feel somewhat unkind and threatening.

However, the beautiful but unfriendly clothes will melt the user's habits as they use them, and the stories will be piled up and turned into perfectly beautiful memories that users can wear at some point with traces of time.

지퍼 헤드.

EXCELLA의 기본 지퍼 헤드가 아닌 SEEL만의 로고를 사용,

구두와 그림이 아닌, 3D 모델링을 통해 먼저 수정 및 보완의 과정을 거쳐 오차 범위를 줄인 뒤 제작에 착수하기에 실제 생산되었을 땐 SEEL의 가치관이 담긴 완성도가 높은 지퍼 헤드로 탄생합니다.

Zipper head.

Use SEEL's own logo, not EXCELLA's basic zipper head,
Rather than words and pictures, 3D modeling first reduces the error range through correction and supplementation, and then when it is actually produced, it is born as a high-quality zipper head containing SEEL values.

시작을 생각하고 과정을 생각하며 제작자를 떠나 착용자와 함께 하는 순간까지 생각하기에 SEEL의 모든 제품들은 어느 하나 의미 없이 선택되지 않습니다.

SEEL은 어떠한 흐름에도 영향을 받지 않는 변하지 않는 값어치를 지닌 옷을 만드는 독자적인 길을 걸어갈 것입니다.
